REIGN does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Everything stays on your device.
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and synced via your personal iCloud account (if enabled). This includes:
If you grant permission, REIGN reads heart rate variability (HRV), sleep data, and resting heart rate from Apple Health to show recovery correlations. This health data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. We write mindfulness session data to Apple Health when you complete breathing exercises.
On devices with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later), the AI coach runs entirely on-device using Apple's Foundation Models framework. No data is sent to any server.
On older devices, the AI coach uses OpenRouter API to generate responses. In this case, your message and anonymous context (streak day, mood level, time of day) are sent to the API. No identifying information is included. No conversation history is stored on external servers.
If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit. This sync is managed entirely by Apple using your personal Apple ID. REIGN does not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure. We cannot access your iCloud data.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect payment information. Apple handles all billing.
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data within the app. This permanently removes all local data. If iCloud sync is enabled, data will also be removed from iCloud.
REIGN is rated 17+ and is not intended for use by children under 17.
